The dam count has shot up over the last week but still good numbers of fish showing on PAC beats at the moment and despite the light fishing effort some of them are getting caught:
Tuesday:
Nothing caught during the day but Jim Fisher ventured out in evening and did well with an 8lber from Pitlochry bank late in the evening
Wednesday:
Chris Boyle caught a very nice fish of 17lbs on the fly on Pitlochry bank this morning and
Dave Wilson continued his good run up at Ruan Ruarie with a 9lb fish (and another lost) this morning.
The river remains at a good height - room for optimism.
