The new season got under way today in conditions that were far from ideal - the river running high and strong gusty winds to contend with. A few members did venture out, however, and a numbers of others dropped by to follow the proceedings. Unfortunately that first springer remained elusive - despite best efforts. Hopefully the river will drop back over the coming week.
