Good Catches

It was another difficult day at the dam yesterday with high winds and bright sunshine. Conditions improved in the evening, though, and two club members were able to take advantage: Alec Cruikshank landed a superb sea liced fish of 19lbs; and soon after it was Jim Fisher's turn with a fish of about 12lb. Both were caught on Pitlochry bank on the fly.

Today was definitely an improvement with plenty of fish showing. David Andrew managed to get one on a Flying C - a 12lber from Pitlochry bank - and two further fish were lost. Further downstream Gordon Nichol had two fresh fish on the fly - both around 12lbs. Looking good for next week.
