Conditions weren't ideal today with the river still running high. Persistence and flexibility can go a long way to achieving success, though, and Paul McCarthy proved this with a 16lb beauty falling to a Blair Spoon late this afternoon on Port-na-Craig bank. Good effort. Paul's party have another couple of days so hopefully there's more to come.
